Between the 3rd and 7th November 2005, the first Gin (Chin) Clan World Conference was held at Kaiping, Guangzhau, China. This is right in the SiYi region, where the majority of Chinese pioneers came from.  In excess of 800 National and International delegates attended, including clan members and friends from Australia, China (many Chinese provinces including Hong Kong were well represented), India, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Singapore, USA, countries from South & Central, Europe, America and much more.

Our Research organisation was also represented at this Conference. 

Conference such as this is rare and important to serious students and researchers of Chinese Heritage and modern history of China.  At the next CHIN Home Page Update, we will further discuss outcome of this Conference.
